Joshua Moonshine returns to the Boardwalk

Great news today for fans of Joshua Moonshine!
The popular spray paint artist has announced that he is setting up for the summer at Boardwalk & Schellenger Avenue, outside of Splash Zone Water Park.

Moonshine told Wildwood 365 that he will only be able to sell paintings at his new spot for now; his signature live painting shows are on hold, due to social distancing concerns.

Eventually, he expects to paint and perform every night, unless rain or high winds interfere.

A fixture on the Boardwalk for several years, Moonshine has been missing from the Wildwood scene since he disappeared from his base at Sportland Pier toward the end of the 2015 season.

His highest-profile location was Douglass Pavilion, across from Douglass Fudge at Wildwood Avenue, where his interactive performances drew big crowds nightly and earned him a cult-like following.

In the past, Moonshine has managed to adapt to his surroundings, his energy-fueled exhibitions featuring house/techno/trance beats (including some of his own creation) and sometimes even fire and lasers.

It will be interesting to see what he has in store at his new base.
