Stewart's Root Beer renovating second level dining area

Work has begun on a new second floor dining room at Stewart's Root Beer, Boardwalk & Magnolia Avenue.

The area will remain "open air," and one of the best vantage points for the weekly Friday Night Fireworks shows during the summer months.

While a firm date has yet to be set, Stewart's is expected to be open by Mother's Day Weekend.

The eatery's sister property, Capt'n Jack's Island Grill, is in the midst of a major expansion, adding a second level bar and dining area with ocean views for the coming season.
