Morey’s Piers offers Doggie Splash & Dash savings during International Pooper Scooper Week

PRESS RELEASE

In honor of International Pooper Scooper Week (April 1 through April 7) dog lovers can scoop up extra savings on registration for Morey’s Piers Doggie Splash and Dash – two Fido-friendly events taking place in Wildwood, NJ on Saturday, September 8.

Not an April Fool’s joke, International Pooper Scooper Week does exist, and Morey’s Piers has created branded pooper scoopers for the occasion. See photos below.

Patrons who purchase the following admission options from Sunday, April 1 through Saturday, April 7 will save $10 and receive a free Morey's Piers Pooper Scooper at event check in.

  • Dog + Runner Combo Pass for the Doggie Dash and Splash: $35 with discount
  • Dog + Runner Race Entry for the Doggie Dash: $25 with discount

The Doggie Dash kicks-off the tail-wagging events on Saturday, September 8 when pooches set the pace for the 5K and 1 mile beach races at 10:00am on the beach adjacent to Raging Waters Water Park.

New for 2018, Doggie Dash participants can add on a Doggie Splash admission for $10 granting access to the water park right after the race. The exclusive 10:30am time slot is only available to Doggie Dash participants.

The day continues with a splash for the annual puppy pool party at Raging Waters “Water Bark.” Celebrating the close of the water park for the season, canines have free rein to paddle along the river adventure, play in the fountain pool or fetch tennis balls in the activity pool. Also new this year, there will be nine hour-long splash sessions from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, allowing more dogs to splash.

Morey’s is proud to once again be partnering with Team Foster, a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to pair service dogs with Tri-state area veterans suffering from combat-related disabilities including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury.

Morey’s will donate $5 from every registration to Team Foster.  Funds raised will cover the cost of obtaining the dogs, the dogs’ care, and specialized training team, at no cost to veterans.
