This city’s iconic Boardwalk has been named the best boardwalk in the state of New Jersey by the readers of “Things to Do in New Jersey.”
According to the website, thingstodonewjersey.com, “With 38 blocks of amusement rides, water parks, awesome restaurants and shops, fantastic festivals and other seasonal events, and fabulous entertainment, the Wildwood NJ boardwalk is the clear favorite with Things To Do In New Jersey readers, garnering 46 percent of the vote!”
“We are thrilled that the readers of 'Things to Do in New Jersey' recognized the Wildwood Boardwalk as the number one boardwalk in the state,” said Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano. “Generations of families have come to Wildwood to experience our Boardwalk and to share old memories as well as make new ones.”
Coming in second in the readers’ poll was the Keansburg boardwalk with Ocean City coming in third.
“The Wildwood Boardwalk offers its visitors the quintessential boardwalk experience,” said Troiano. “Nowhere in the state of New Jersey, or even in the United States, can you experience a boardwalk like ours. The Wildwood Boardwalk is unparalleled when it comes to a perfect beach resort experience.”
