Mack's Pizza to open for 65th season on April 7th

The original Mack's Pizza shop, on the Boardwalk near Wildwood Avenue, will kick off its 2017 season on Friday, April 7.

It will be open for weekends only to start, then go to an everyday schedule closer to Memorial Day. Mack's other location, 9 blocks south at Roberts Avenue, will open later in the Spring.

This will be Mack's Pizza's 65th season on the Boardwalk, dating back to humble beginnings in 1953.

To our knowledge, it is the second-oldest business in operation along the famous promenade, behind only Douglass Fudge (opened in 1919). Sam's Pizza Palace is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, and Morey's Piers will turn 50 in 2019.
