Beef 'n Beer from 6 pm to 10 pm, live music until midnight...
FreeZa-PolooZA VII, an annual fundraiser benefiting local children and young adults with cancer will be held at the Bolero Blue Water Grill on Saturday, January 24, 2014.

The Beef 'n Beer runs from 6 pm to 10 pm, with live music until midnight. As in years past, live music will be Rockin’ the Bolero with the very popular dance party band Animal House.

In the past 6 years, over $190,000 has been raised to benefit local children and young adults with cancer.

This year’s benefit will support two local residents from Cape May County: Genny Farnan Robinson and Kyle Brown.

Genny Farnan Robinson, 27, of North Cape May is a teacher’s aide with Middle Township School District and attended Wildwood Catholic High School. Genny is currently being treated for brain cancer and is part of a clinical trial at Duke University Medical Center.  Funds raised from the event will help offset her travel expenses.

Kyle Brown had battled life-threatening issues his entire life. On January 3, 2015, Kyle was called home after living life to its fullest. Born and raised in Cape May Court House, Kyle was a student at Special Service School District. He was a very popular student and known for his love of superheroes.

FP VII: "A Night of Superheroes," in Kyle Brown's honor
The theme for FreeZA PoLoZA this year will be “A Night of Superheroes,” named in his honor as event promoters are encouraging attendees to wear their favorite superhero shirt.

Funds from the event will help offset the travel expenses for the Brown family after Kyle’s lengthy stay at St. Christopher’s hospital.

Tickets are available for purchase at the Wildwood Domino’s, North Wildwood Tee Shirt Shop, Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce, 98.7 The Coast in Rio Grande, the Bolero’s front desk and at the door the night of the event.

Tickets are $25 and can be ordered on line at www.WinterRockFest.com.
