Dog park may be coming to the Crest beach

Could we soon see a "dog park trifecta" in the Wildwoods?

After last year's landmark addition of the Wildwood Dog Beach and North Wildwood's approval of a new park last month, it looks like Wildwood Crest may be getting in on the act.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, the borough is considering a proposal to build a fenced dog park on the beach.

The article notes that the idea has been well received, but cites location as a potential sticking point.

Commissioner Don Cabrera noted that the park may be introduced on a trial basis before a decision is made on whether or not to make it permanent.

The matter will be discussed at the next commissioners' meeting on February 4.
