Downtown Wildwood to Host the Inaugural Ryan Patterson Motocross Foundation Benefit

PRESS RELEASE

On Saturday, June 2nd, Downtown Wildwood will host the inaugural Ryan Patterson Motocross Foundation Benefit with a Pacific Avenue block party starting at 7:30 p.m.

The block party will be held between Lincoln and Spicer Avenues by a group of restaurants - some of them new to the Downtown area - that are being touted as Restaurant Row - the new must-see locale of Downtown.

The Wildwood Business Improvement District (WBID), along with Pacific Avenue Block Party, the Ryan Patterson Motocross Foundation, and Thundermoto Sports will sponsor the event that includes fun for everyone: live entertainment, pong tournament, eating contest, dunk tank, corn hole, and a raffle.

Event proceeds benefit the Ryan Patterson Motocross Foundation, formed in memory of the avid motocross racer and southern New Jersey native Ryan Patterson - the Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by siblings Mark and Michele Patterson to keep their brother's passion alive on the track by helping the kids of motocross.

The Foundation's mission is to inspire, teach, and provide confidence to the young MX-ers that have a passion for the sport of motocross, so that it is possible for their dreams of racing on the track to become a reality.

Music by Hydeaway will fill the block on Pacific Avenue from 8 p.m. - 12 midnight. The Jack Daniels Girls will be adding to the excitement with specials and giveaways.
