Ignis Fatuus coming into focus

After months of speculation, we are a mere 12 days away from the unveiling of Morey's Pier's new mystery attraction - Ignis Fatuus ("Project 5292010").

Since our last update, the big red tarps covering the ride have been removed and the exterior of a heavily weathered ship has been revealed.

Our friend Ken was kind enough to share the following pictures, taken this past weekend at Mariner's Landing...

  1. I love stuff like this! Reminds me of the rides from 20-30 years ago

  2. Finally, a replacement for the old "Dracula's Castle." NBC 10 here in Philadelphia just ran a story on Ignis Fatuus, saying its a new "haunted ship" ride on Morey's Pier and it should cost about $9 in tickets. With live actors as well as props, each time through provides a unique experience. Also, unlike some other rides that last 8-10 minutes, Ignis Fatuus should run 30 minutes. That's a good value for usual overpriced boardwalk rides.
